We will serve both Haitian individuals and communities.
We work in collaboration with local partners and Bible-believing churches in Haiti to care, encourage and uplift. We accomplish this by utilizing short and long term optometric and medical missions as well as providing assistance through microfinance and other outreach programs. We are committed to this ministry being run in country by our Haitian team. We believe that they are the primary ones that will be able to reach their peers for Jesus. We will all work together to mentor each other and to pray, plan, brainstorm, and creatively think about ways to make a difference for Christ. Our hope and prayer is that these efforts will work towards improving the spiritual, emotional, and physical health of the Haitian people.

“God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all you need, you will abound in every good work.  As it is written: ‘He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.’  Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.  You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.  This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God’s people, but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.  Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for…your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else.”

2 Corinthians 9:8-13

Thank you for your heart to serve Haiti and
your desire to be Christ’s love in action!

Your help has made a life and death difference in the lives of many.  Over the years, food, clothing, medicines, funds for medical care, clean water projects, construction projects for church based schools, gardens, livestock, and more have been provided through your generous donations.  Time after time you have been faithful to partner with us in providing for the needs of Haiti in the direst of conditions:  through the hurricanes of 2008, the global recession of the past few years, the devastating earthquake of January 2010, and the cholera epidemic that followed.  We cannot express how humbled and awed we were by God’s providence through YOU as we struggled to meet the needs of a dying and distressed nation.  We are entering a new phase as we are in the middle of constructing permanent medical and eye clinics that will be used as tools to share the love of Jesus to those in physical need.   We are happy to report that our ministry has been able to share with those in need as we have been gifted by God through your faithful partnership.  In short, as we receive, we are able to provide for an abundance of needs!

The ultimate goal of God in all of history is to uphold and display His glory for the enjoyment of the redeemed from every tribe and tongue and people and nation.  His goal is the gladness of His people because God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him…the goal of missions therefore is the gladness of the peoples in the greatness of God.”  -  john piper
