Julmice read Romans 8:38-39 - And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Pray for Julmice and the workers who are day after day working on these buildings. What an amazing work God is doing! Continue to pray that He will bring Spirit-filled, servant-minded leaders to our staff and prepare the hearts of our neighbors to receive the love of Jesus.

Julmice read Psalm 116:1-2 - I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!

Julmice read James 3:17 - But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere.

Please continue to pray for our fundraising efforts. We have raised $85,000 of the $200,000 goal.

Construction is moving along! See the pics of eye center foundation, medical clinic inside first floor and walls of guesthouse. You will also see the John Deere lawnmower we shipped over. We wanted something for the 6+ acres and it let us practice the shipping process with something smaller before we ship equipment later.

Please continue to pray for Spirit-filled, servant-minded leaders and that the hearts of the people would be prepared to receive Jesus.

What a great night we had Saturday night at the Nichole Nordeman concert! We had an amazing time of celebration and worship. We were able to raise awareness and funds for See Him. We had 400+ in attendance including Dr. Tim and Sarah Graham, board members from Longview, TX. We were able to raise over $14,500 just this night which brings our total to about $83,000 towards our goal of $200,000. Please continue to pray and consider how you can financially support us in an ongoing way through monthly gifts. We need YOUR help! With 450 people giving at least $25/month, we could meet our goal. You may be someone who can afford even more. Let's think about what we CAN do, not about why we can't. Grateful!

EEWSHM Praying and Building 5/1/15

Julmice read Psalm 50:14-15 - Make thankfulness your sacrifice to God, and keep the vows you made to the Most High. Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory.”

The concert is tonight! So excited! Know that God is going to do amazing things as He already has been as we have been bathing this in prayer. This is a moment in time as this journey is ongoing but what a special day for us as an anchor point that we can look back to as confirmation that God has called us into His work and that He is the Provider. We are just trying to humbly submit and walk in faith. Thank you for being on this journey with us. Your prayers matter! If you are in the Chattanooga area, you can come and get tickets at the door tonight. Doors open at 6pm for general admission seating. Concert begins at 7:00pm. Hope to see you there!

Julmice read Philippians 2:3-4 - Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.

3 days until our Benefit Concert with Nichole Nordeman. Continue to pray that God will bless us more than we can imagine!

Julmice read Psalm 143:10 - Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.

Continue praying for the upcoming concert and fundraising efforts. Pray that God will bring Spirit-filled, servant-minded people to our team. Pray that God will be preparing the hearts of our new neighbors to have eyes to see and ears to hear about Jesus!

The guys are making great progress on 3 projects as they finish the shell of the first floor of the medical clinic, work on first floor of the guesthouse and the foundation of the eye clinic. Amazing work! Thankful!

Julmice read Matthew 6:33 - Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

I can tell you we are counting on this promise of God! We believe that God has called us into this work for His people in Haiti to care for them and love them in the way that He has so abundantly loved us. As a result, we are confident that He will provide what we need even when it is not clear how that will happen. We face uncertainty but we trust in the Lord! Please continue to pray for Julmice and the workers, pray that God will bring Spirit-filled, servant-minded people to our team and pray that God will do more than we could ask or imagine regarding funding for the clinics.

Julmice read Deuteronomy 30:16 - For I command you this day to love the Lord your God and to keep his commands, decrees, and regulations by walking in his ways. If you do this, you will live and multiply, and the Lord your God will bless you and the land you are about to enter and occupy.
