Julmice read 2 Peter 1:4 - And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.

Check out these pictures of the medical clinic. It is really taking shape! Exciting! Pray for us daily. Waiting on God, Fearless to Move, Trusting His Provision!

Julmice read James 5:16 - Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.

We are counting on this promise of great power and wonderful results. Continue to pray with us! Please use the following words to help guide you in your prayers in the coming days:

Waiting on God, Fearless to Move, Trusting His Provision!

We need your prayers as we

  1. Assemble Spirit-driven, servant-minded leaders for our staff and entire team
  2. Determine the framework by which we carry out this ministry in a way that magnifies God
  3. Prepare to show the love of Christ to our Haitian neighbors

Julmice read Matthew 6:33 - Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

Holly just shared these words with me as I was typing out this blog so I think that means I should include it so that we might all recognize each one we serve as those made special for His purposes, each one made in His image so they possess invaluable worth:

“We are not a voice for the voiceless. The truth is that there is a lot of noise out there drowning out quiet voices, and many people have stopped listening to the cries of their neighbors. Lots of folks have put their hands over their ears to drown out the suffering. Institutions have distanced themselves from the disturbing cries.. It is a beautiful thing when folks in poverty are no longer just a missions project but become genuine friends and family with whom we laugh, cry, dream, and struggle. One of the verses I have grown to love is the one where Jesus is preparing to leave the disciples and says, "I no longer call you servants.... Instead, I have called you friends" (John 15:15). Servanthood is a fine place to begin, but gradually we move toward mutual love, genuine relationships. Someday, perhaps we can even say those words that Ruth said to Naomi after years of partnership: "Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried" (Ruth 1:16-17).”- Shane Claiborne

Continue to lift up this work as we together strive to make a difference for Jesus in this community in Haiti to which He has called us.

Julmice read 1 Peter 5:10 - In His kindness God called you to share in His eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, He will restore, support, and strengthen you, and He will place you on a firm foundation.
